We prioritize farmers, ranchers, and makers who use sustainable, ethical, and regenerative practices and grow food without synthetic pesticides or unnecessary chemical inputs. Whenever possible, we choose products from regenerative farms and are always paying close attention to how and where things are sourced.

Not everything we carry is certified organic. Some of the producers we admire most choose not to pursue certification because of the cost, paperwork, or because they believe the certification process doesn't always reflect the highest standards of stewardship. At Hubstead, we believe relationships matter. We get to know our growers and makers, visit farms, and continually seek out producers who are doing things the right way—for healthier soil, healthier ecosystems, and healthier people.
